Maintenance-free and built to last, this food-grade polypropylene hive is a joy to work with for any beekeeper. Each board is blow-molded and injected with polyurethane foam which results in no seams or joints to weaken the plastic or for small hive beetles to hide.
Designed with ease of use in mind, it has the durability of plastic, but with a screen bottom board. This is the bottom board for you. It is made of UV-treated, durable plastic screen molded into a Varroa Screen. The Blue & Yellow plastic entrance reducers have holes on one end or can be turned upside down to completely close off the hive. The 1" legs elevate the bottom board off any surface.
Stainless steel latches secure each component to the next. Each box comes with a latch kit installed.
To connect the parts you can simply fasten the front and back latches
