Our Story
ABeeQ is a family-owned business dedicated to sustainable beekeeping and honey production. We are passionate about protecting bee populations and promoting environmental sustainability.
My wife and I began beekeeping a little over 10 years ago. After our first year, I realized that somehow the bees and I had connected on a very personal level. Over the last 10 years, we have grown to love all aspects of beekeeping in great part because of the endless opportunities to learn about bees from experts in the field, the layperson, novices, and even the bees themselves.
We truly love the peacefulness of working with bees. It allows one to embrace a hands-on approach to learning and the ability to share what I have learned from all parties with other beekeeping enthusiasts. With each passing day, we are more aware that there is an overwhelming amount we need to learn, appreciate, and share about bees, their world, and beekeeping. To that end, my wife and I plan to add new hives, knowledge, and practices to our apiary every year and hope to keep growing into a full-timebusiness that will challenge us each day.
